Terms & Conditions.

 

The property owners do not take responsibility for loss or damage to your personal property or vehicle during your stay. You must lock your vehicle at all times as well as all doors and windows when away from the property.

Check in is at 3pm. However, if you arrive early please give us a call to check if the house is ready before entering.

Check out is at 10am. Late checkout is based on availability and is charged at $50 per hour up until 2pm.

No Party Policy: 

As our beach houses are located in a residential area we have strict rules when it comes to noise and parties. In respect towards neighbouring properties, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum at all times. 

There is to be no noise after 10pm. This includes but is not limited to music, yelling, swearing, and loud talking. This must be adhered to and carries strict penalties if not complied with. We suggest that you move inside after 10pm. 

Visitors are permitted at the property however are not to exceed 6 persons between 8am and 10pm. If you are making excessive noise after 10pm and before 8am security will be called. 

Warnings from security will incur penalties and you may face eviction: 1st warning will incur a $250 fine. 2nd Warning will incur a $500 fine 3rd Warning you will be evicted from the property.

*Definition of noise: If others can hear your music, TV or voices outside the house after 10pm.Management reserve the right to evict tenants who are in breach of house rules.

Security Bond: 

A security bond of $1500 is charged to your nominated credit card prior to arrival. The security bond will be charged if the property is not left in the condition it was on check in. The security bond will also be charged should house rules be broken and or an eviction of your group takes place.

Rubbish is to be removed and placed in garbage bins located in the car park. Please pick up all cigarette butts and rubbish from the house, decks and gardens 

All furniture is to be placed back in its original position 

The kitchen is to be left as it was found with all dishes, cutlery ect cleaned and put away 

The BBQ is to be cleaned 

Any damages, breakages or missing items must be reported to management 

All pet droppings to be discarded from the yard.

If any excess cleaning, carpet cleaning, rubbish removal or painting due to smoke residue is required this will be deducted from your security bond.

Any additional charges for damage or repairs above the $1500 bond, will be charged to the credit card used to make the original booking.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 10% of the total  is payable on booking, with 50% of the balance due one month prior to arrival. Remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your arrival.

Please note the booking deposit is non-refundable. *(See cancellation policy for updated Covid-19 terms).

Credit Card transactions will attract the following surcharges;Domestic Visa & Mastercard: 1.5% International cards & AmEx: 1.95%We accept all major credit cards except for Diners.

Cancellation Policy

In light of recent events, we have amended our cancellation policy.

If you are unable to travel due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions, deposits are fully refundable. Proof of inability to travel due to Covid-19 based restrictions must be supplied to activate the full refund.

If cancelling for other reasons, deposits are non-refundable.

Covid Policy

If government COVID-19 restrictions come into place for the time of your stay you can either receive a refund less 5% of the total booking (minimum fee $150) or a full booking credit to use within 12 months. Should there be a difference in rates, the balance will be due 14 days prior to arrival.

If you have commenced your stay and government COVID-19 restrictions come into place and you have to leave due to time-constraints (such as having to cross a state border by a certain time) you will receive a full credit of the nights you could not stay, or a refund of the nights not used less 5%.

In the event your booking is affected by government mandated occupancy restrictions, we can provide a refund less 5% of the total booking.

Your cancellation request under this policy must relate to Covid-19 and must provide;

a.       Driver’s licence with residential address and a reference document with the government public authority direction confirming your claim and cancellation request.

The Cove Collective reserves the right to assess and determine a request for cancellation and/or refund.
